An Original WW2 US Camouflage painted Jungle Liner made by Westinghouse.
These liners are considered to be some of the rarest liners to collect with only around 500-600K ever being made and reports say that up to 300K of the liners in the last production run were repainted green as the jungle liner were quite quickly discontinued due to the introduction of the camouflage helmet cover.
In my time collecting jungle liners i have come across 4 patterns, this in my opinion is probably the rarest of the cotton liners as it has green painted A washers. 99% of cotton liners have un-painted A washers.
This particular liner is in fantastic condition with very clear paintwork in good un-marked condition. The cotton suspension is held to the liner by green painted A washers. Both the leather sweatband and the nape strap are present and correct. The green painted leather chinstrap is also present and correct.
A very hard to find Jungle Liner...
