WW2 US 101st Airborne - Major General Maxwell Taylor Letter
Here we have for sale an original WW2 era letter written on behalf of Major General Maxwell Taylor 101st Airborne by 1st Lt Stephen J Karabinos who was aide de camp to the General.
This letter came out a large scrap book that had been put together in 1945 by someone who had taken the time to write to over 200 high ranking officers of WW2.
The letter and envelope front are stuck to the cardboard page from the scrapbook and there are storage marks on the letter.
If you know your 101st Airborne history you will know that Stephen Karabinos jumped on every jump with the 101st in the ETO.
A really great letter for any 101st Airborne collector...
